Philanthropy

The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our philanthropic focus on supporting children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Our key impact organizations that we get to make a difference in is with StandUp for Kids and FosterClub. Each fall, Alpha Xi Delta hosts our Color Run, a 5K around Albion’s campus, with all proceeds benefiting the Kindly Hearts Initiative. We also hold smaller service projects throughout the year, including writing cards for Eagle Village youth and assembling hygiene care bags for children supported by Hillsdale CASA, two local nonprofits that assist youth and families in crisis. Together, these events allow our chapter to share kindness and support with those who need it most.

Letters of Love
All Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae associations participate in Letters of Love, Alpha Xi Delta’s national letter writing fundraising campaign. Held annually during the month of November this campaign benefits Alpha Xi Delta’s two Key Impact Organizations, StandUp for Kids and FosterClub. To learn more about Letters of Love, click here.
