From the moment I joined, I knew I had found a chapter that was more than just a sorority—it was a group of women who genuinely embody the values of sisterhood, leadership, and service in everything they do. What makes our chapter so incredible is the way we celebrate each other’s successes, rally around one another in challenges, and consistently push each other to achieve more than we thought possible. Whether it’s excelling in academics, competing in athletics, or stepping up as leaders across campus, our sisters are always raising the bar and lifting each other up along the way. The energy and dedication within Phi Chapter is contagious, and it inspires me every day to be the best version of myself.One of the things I am most proud of is the way our chapter gives back to others through our national philanthropy, the Kindly Hearts Initiative. Our sisters pour their hearts into raising awareness and support for children experiencing foster care or homelessness, and the impact we have created is a direct reflection of our chapter’s passion for service. The way our members come together for this cause—whether through fundraisers, service events, etc.—demonstrates how deeply we care about making a difference. Phi Chapter doesn’t just talk about service; we live it.What makes our chapter so amazing, though, is not just what we accomplish, but who we are together. We are a sisterhood that feels like family, where everyone is welcome, valued, and supported. From big events on campus to the simple moments of laughter in our house, Phi Chapter is filled with love, encouragement, and joy. In 1893, ten young women at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois, shared a vision and a dream of a national organization dedicated to the personal growth of women. Their dream became Alpha Xi Delta, one of the oldest women’s fraternities in the United States.

The timeless ideals envisioned by Alpha Xi Delta’s Founders remain constant throughout the years, inspiring pride in each member to pursue individual excellence. Now a national fraternity with more than 171,000 initiated members, our Fraternity is a progressive organization with college chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States.

Alpha Xi Delta is proud of its history and lasting impact on its members and the Panhellenic community. In fact, Alpha Xi Delta’s first National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Chairman wrote the Panhellenic Creed, which all members of NPC still recite on college campuses today.

Alpha Xi Delta’s Founders left us a great legacy. They taught us the value of education because it frees us to achieve our goals and gives us the power to be whatever we choose. They taught us to support one another through shared experiences and understanding. They taught us to serve others and reach out to better the lives of those less fortunate. Because of them, Alpha Xi Delta continues to inspire countless bold and talented women to realize their potential.
